We’re two months into the new year, and I like to view January and February as a chance for us to reset and start fresh. During the beginning months of 2025, I’m feeling a positive spirit in the air as people continue their resolutions and enjoy the commitment it takes to stick to a new habit. We envision new possibilities for ourselves and begin to see what we could achieve if we stick to all the promises we’ve mapped out.
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Walt Disney
At SAP NS2, it’s no different. As we wrapped up 2024, we celebrated our successes and identified areas we could improve. We head into 2025 with a fresh perspective on our business. This year, we’re focusing on three main objectives: Learn, Collaborate, and Trust. I believe these objectives will help our business flourish, as we empower our employees, support our customers, and stay on the leading edge of innovation. As we kickstart this new year, SAP NS2 is committed to delivering these promises to ourselves, as well as those we work with.
Learn
In 2025, I’m encouraging a “learn it all” mindset. Learning is a key part of success, especially within the cloud market. There are many complexities and moving parts to cloud migration, and when we bring regulated industries into the conversation, it introduces the topic of security.
The world of cloud security is ever evolving, and our customers’ needs are evolving with it. As a cloud service provider, we must keep up with industry trends and best practices. One trend that we’ve all been privy to in the past year is the emergence of AI. At SAP NS2, we’re asking ourselves how we can adopt AI services, while honoring the security needs of our U.S. Government customers, Aerospace & Defense agencies, and other regulated entities?
We’re devoted to our continued education around market trends and AI-centric innovation in the cloud. Our internal teams are working with key stakeholders, holding space for these important conversations, and learning how we can advance AI within our cloud-based applications without disrupting what we do at our core—security. This willingness to learn will help us become more efficient, cater to our customers more effectively, and strengthen our product pipeline.
As for our interpersonal relationships at SAP NS2, learning across the organization is paramount. I’m excited to continue programs, like our Mentorship Series and our Fellowship program, which foster a culture of cross-departmental learning and empower employees to achieve business goals outside of their direct line of work.
The power of knowledge will be a tool that we use throughout 2025 to learn, grow, and create a culture of honesty and openness.
Collaborate
Of all the successes we’ve achieved at SAP NS2, we certainly haven’t done them alone. Our partnerships have supported us in reaching new markets, obtaining security authorizations, and much more. Heading into the new year, strengthening our partnerships is a top priority.

Security is one of the most important things we do, as our continued goal is to provide SAP cloud solutions to highly regulated markets within the U.S. We couldn’t do this without the support of Third Party Assessment Organizations (3PAO). As an independent entity, 3PAOs ensure we meet federal security requirements and streamline the assessment process for authorizations such as FedRAMP, DoD Impact Level 4, and beyond. They support our internal security teams as we bring SAP solutions into the SAP NS2 pipeline. This will be especially important heading into 2025, as we continue to explore new, enhanced cybersecurity measures for our cloud environments.
As a cloud-first organization, we offer resources, services, and solutions to help our customers move to the cloud and operate at an enhanced level of innovation. Our hyperscalers have supported this initiative through secure cloud regions that are built to support mission-critical data. This collaboration will allow us to introduce new innovations to our customers in the future, such as AI capabilities.

Our partnership with SAP has continued to strengthen throughout the years—and we took monumental strides in 2024 as we worked closely with SAP leadership and built upon our U.S. sovereign cloud capabilities.
As members of the SAP Defense Interest Group (DEIG), we attended a collaborative meeting in Munich, Germany alongside SAP and our defense customers. This meeting created a space for us to share best practices on how we deliver SAP solutions to defense agencies within our respective regions. We asked our customers what they needed, how we could best provide it, and reviewed how the SAP NS2 portfolio could better serve our customers through Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 5 (IL5). DEIG is comprised of 17 Member Nations and NATO, and members of the group work together to present defense-specific requirements to SAP.
Our common goal to safeguard mission-critical data, while empowering customers to adopt leading innovations, led to powerful conversations. In 2025, I’m looking forward to what more we can achieve alongside SAP.
Trust
And maybe the most important of them all: trust.
Our customers span across industries such as the federal government, defense departments, utilities, higher education, and others. Their trust within SAP NS2 is incredibly important, as we play a key role in supporting their cloud readiness journey, protecting their mission-critical data, and improving operations across their enterprise.

In the new year, we aim to strengthen the trust of our customers by establishing a program built to advocate for customer needs. Continued trust from our customers comes from fostering relationships—this allows us to provide the right SAP solutions and adhere to the right cloud security standards.
For my colleagues, it’s no different than any other year. I want us to trust one another, and to trust ourselves.

Last year, we celebrated our 20th anniversary as a company—some have been here since the beginning, while some just started a few months ago. No matter when you join the SAP NS2 team, your knowledge and your commitment has an impact.
We couldn’t have made it 20 years without the amazing people that have contributed to our successes. Our ability to rely on one another, believe that we can make it to the finish line, and encourage one another along the way is one of my favorite parts about SAP NS2. In the past twenty years, we have made significant strides, and we can attribute much of that to trusting and believing in ourselves, and in one another.

With that, I wish you all a happy 2025. From all of us here at SAP NS2, learn from one another, collaborate for the future, and trust that you can get it done.
