That’s why we’re excited to share that SAP AI Core will reach general availability at SAP NS2 in 2026. Leaders in security: CMMC and heightened compliance
Expanding our business across regulated industries and achieving critical security accreditations remains another top priority for 2026. The compliance landscape is evolving rapidly, and we’re positioned at the forefront to help our customers navigate these changes.
CMMC is a major focus for us this year, and the opportunity is substantial. CMMC compliance is mandatory for organizations handling Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) for Department of War contracts. Over 200,000 Aerospace & Defense suppliers are expected to meet CMMC requirements, with more than 80,000 needing Level 2 certification. Any S&P 500 company in the DoW supply chain handling such information will need to comply, regardless of size. Our goal is to help federal, Department of War, and defense industrial base customers meet CMMC requirements on time through our secure and compliant solutions.
We’re looking beyond CMMC as well, monitoring developments like the Cotton Amendment and other regulatory changes that will shape how we serve our customers. By remaining compliant, and continuing to strengthen our security posture, SAP NS2 can spearhead helping agencies reduce costs, modernize legacy systems, and streamline operations through our secure U.S.-sovereign cloud offerings.
This work aligns directly with administration priorities around cost reduction and modernization. By consolidating disparate systems, automating workflows, and providing real-time analytics, we’ll help agencies improve efficiency, lower total cost of ownership, and deliver faster, more reliable services to the warfighter and the defense industrial base. These efficiencies come paired with IL4 and IL5-ready security and compliance, ensuring agencies can modernize responsibly while meeting both mission and regulatory requirements.
