Giving back to our local communities is a concept that’s woven into the culture of SAP NS2. Whether it’s through our corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, our community program, NS2 Serves, or employee-supported causes, there’s no shortage of volunteerism.
As our team contributes to positive change amongst our communities, there’s a greater purpose in the act of volunteering, and we celebrate the impact it can make on those around us. We began 2025 with this purpose in mind, as we hosted two events with Simply the Basics.
Simply the Basics is a non-profit organization with a goal to make hygiene more accessible. They serve those experiencing homelessness and low-income communities to ensure they always have access to their most basic needs. The access to basic hygiene products has an undeniable impact on one’s overall health—both psychical and mental.
In partnership with Simply the Basics, our SAP NS2 employee’s created hygiene kits for those in need, and we donated them to shelters within our local community.
98% of recipients reported an improvement in physical health, a reduction in infections, and an improvement in their feelings of wellness.

Our first event was hosted at our annual company kickoff, providing an opportunity for both local and virtual employees to come together for a common purpose. Our second event was hosted at our Chantilly office, and local employees were invited to attend and spend the afternoon building hygiene kits for those in need.
