This National Intern Day, we’re proud to celebrate SAP NS2’s 2026 intern cohort!

Every year, our interns bring fresh perspectives and dedicated work to teams across SAP NS2. Throughout the summer, they contribute to meaningful projects that help SAP NS2 protect what matters and drive what’s next.

Finding their purpose: From curiosity to career paths

Every journey to SAP NS2 looks a little different.

For Jesse Flynn, a senior studying computer science at Texas State University, the path wasn’t always software engineering. After serving four years in the U.S. Army as a medic, he realized he wanted a career that aligned with one of his biggest interests: building technology. His coursework and leadership roles at Texas State confirmed he was on the right path.

Many SAP NS2 interns were drawn to fields where they could solve real-world challenges. For Keaton Turcotte, a rising second-year law student at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, her family tradition of military service shaped her career. Keaton’s goal is to support those who serve through her legal career: ” My internship has further solidified my passion to defend and support the warfighter, while highlighting the employment of veterans. Seeing the relationship between the government and contractors has shown me the type of legal environment I want to work in. “

Eveleen Diep, a recent graduate from Mary Baldwin University, was fascinated by the many ways mathematics influence everyday life, from cryptography and password security to signal processing and artificial intelligence.

Grace Crum, a senior at the University of Tennessee studying Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics, chose her field because of her passion for improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working.

Others were inspired by understanding people as much as technology. Chloe Hand, a psychology major at Fairfield University with a concentration in behavioral neuroscience and a minor in management, intentionally combined psychology with business to better understand “how people and business strategies intersect.”

Meanwhile, Maggie Kristan, a recent Loyola University Chicago graduate in advertising and public relations, found her passion for storytelling and strategy early on.

“I sometimes found myself watching the ads more than the actual TV shows,” Maggie shared. “I’ve always been fascinated by the strategy behind marketing and how the content we consume shapes our perspectives. I wanted to be part of creating that impact.”

Hands-on work that makes an impact

At SAP NS2, interns are trusted with real-world projects that make a real impact. This summer, they took on responsibilities across teams while building skills they’ll carry into their future careers.

As a DevOps Engineer intern, Jesse’s first projects included building and configuring a cloud environment from the ground up, using automation tools to provision infrastructure and support development. “It gave me confidence and made me feel like I was contributing to something bigger than my individual tasks,” he shared.

On the Data Operations team, Eveleen applied classroom skills in SQL and Python while working with platforms new to her, like SAP HANA Cloud and Business Application Studio (BAS), to model data and improve existing processes. She also attended the AWS DC Summit, where she explored how AI and emerging technologies are shaping industries from defense to healthcare.

Several interns also collaborated beyond their day-to-day roles through SAP NS2’s AI Hackathon. Chloe’s team built an AI agent that streamlines IT asset tracking, helping flag and manage equipment more efficiently across the organization. Grace joined a different hackathon team and said the experience helped her become “more confident and comfortable utilizing AI” in her day-to-day work.

On the Marketing and Communications team, Maggie supported projects across social media, executive communications, and event planning. She even helped launch a new brand ambassador program from the ground up.

From the Legal team, Keaton gained hands-on experience supporting regulatory and compliance initiatives for government customers, giving her exposure to a wide range of legal work.

A culture built on connection

Across every team, our interns all shared the same sentiment: the people made the experience unforgettable.

For Keaton, mentorship stood out most. She credits teammates Manasi and Brittany for including her in meetings, explaining complex legal concepts, and helping her grow professionally. “They have really contributed to my sense of belonging,” she shared. “I will never forget the time they’ve taken to pour into me.”

Eveleen echoed that, saying she’ll miss “the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals at the company and the connections I made through it.”

Jesse found a team that made every day enjoyable, putting it simply: “We make work fun.”

For Chloe, the close-knit intern community in Newtown Square stood out. “Everyone has been incredibly kind and always brings a positive energy into the office,” she said.

Returning for their second summers, Grace reflected on SAP NS2’s “culture of acceleration and growth,” while Maggie was inspired by the company’s constant innovation and its ability to collaborate across teams.

Whether working in the office or remotely, each intern found a community that supported their growth and encouraged them to keep learning.

Growing into what’s next

Each intern leaves the program with new skills, stronger confidence, and a clearer vision for their future.

Jesse discovered a passion for cloud infrastructure and automation, while Eveleen will continue exploring the intersection of data and engineering as she begins her Master of Engineering at the University of Virginia.

Chloe found a new interest in operations and project management, and Keaton strengthened her commitment to supporting the warfighter through a career in law.

For Grace, the experience reinforced her passion for supply chain and business analytics, while Maggie discovered her passion lies in a cross-functional marketing career that brings together strategy, communications, events, and creative storytelling.

We couldn’t be more proud of the curiosity, creativity, and energy this year’s interns brought to SAP NS2. As they take their next steps, we’re excited to see how they continue to learn and drive what’s next.
